Happiness is socks and jumpers and morning mist. The world is wintry now - it is possible to go outside at all times of day and even walk in the heart of the day. Happiness. My brain is working again with the gentle, mellow weather.
It often perplexes me how I ended up in Queensland - which has seven months of scorching, unforgiving summer.
However, right now. In this time. The weather is perfect. We even recently had a day of rain. And my heart was full with the beauty of the caught raindrops. Many of the grasses seemed to have evolved to catch and hold the raindrops as long as they could.
I envied them.
